Using any protractor.You can use pretty much any effective-length and offset-angle combination you like.
I've done it ad-hoc before (with a Rega on a Systemdek) where the arm or arm-board wasn't quite spot-on, and I couldn't be bothered to faff around finding the exact 222mm (or whatever) spindle/pivot distance.
The geometry still ends up 'correct' (aligned on both nulls), but some might not like having a visible (if barely) mis-alignment of headsehll and cartridge.
