I think I had a Sears turntable with two detachable speakers, that all folded up to make it easier to carry. I got it from my older brother as a hand me down when I was 8 or 9 (1964 or 1965). My mom and dad gave me a bunch of story LP's (like War of the Worlds, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Journey To The Center Of The Earth) to listen to, then for Christmas 1965 I got my first music LP Beatles 65 and I was forever hooked both on the Beatles and music.Jeff
