I've just read your post about your 125. I have recently acquired one with a SME 3012 Mk 2. After I'd tweaked it (damping and suspension) it replaced both my Thorens 124 (also 3012 arm) and Linn LP12. I've now added a Hadcock 242 to the 125, and it the music has improved by another dimension. Much, much better than the SME, which was fine, but not anything like the Hadcock. I've been using Denon 103, Dynavector DV 20 XH, and at the moment a DV Karat 17D 2. Fabulous sound.Just an observation from my personal experience.
