I recommend a Linn Basic (straight tonearm) for your table. They make a good match. You will have to be diligent in finding one with good bearings, but they are worth it.You may also want to experiment with different mats (I like cork on this table), and use a Michell clamp.
Replace the capacitors in the motor's control circuit if you detect any speed variations that you cannot otherwise rectify.
The Ortofon OM-series is decent, but maybe a bit to analytical for this table. I have nontheless had good results using an OM-20 with the above mentioned tweaks.
But ultimately, I would prefer something a bit warmer while retaining the OM's overall balance.
