Tweakk is probably right about resale value, however 3 yrs ago there would have been nobody here that would have steered you towards the Technics table either (except for one person). Truth is, no one here probably knows anything about the sound of the Stanton. However it is a DJ table made for mobile use, which may indicate its build quality is one that is more favorable for mobile use.
That said, here are a few other choicesRega P3 costs a little more that the DJ tables. Many people like this table also. It is probably the most popular table in its price range.

Then too, Here's a Music Hall MMF-5 which also gets good reviews for the same price as the Stanton. It also gets good reviews for its price range
