Thelma Houston&Pressure Cooker

I've got the music in me on Sheffield Labs. Almost didn't spot this one on the fleamarket this morning. Plus 3 cheapo Italian "Giganti" jazz records, Mike Oldfield/Crises. And 2 pairs of speakers, a tiny (and tinny)Technics set and a BIG set of 3 way Philips flat panel speakers from the mid 1980s. Total 6 euro! This stuff is too cheap, problem is where to leave it...
Spinning now on a 50 euro set: Pioneer Pl-12D/Shure M75, Luxman L200 amp, Philips ST 4923 (=F9430) speakers, Target stands.
It never fails to amaze me how excellent a cheapo analog rig can sound. I also buy (i buy everything) 1980s Philips CDP's for their swingarm mechanism. Take it from me the "wow-factor" is much less when i hook up such a CDP.

Greetings Freek.
