Re: Which version of Born to Run is the best?

Hi,

Man, I wish I could. Other than suggesting maybe GEMM. I bought mine used at Joe's Record Paradise in Rockville, MD. I venture over there from Northern VA every so often. I would like to claim that I hunted it down but the truth is that it was just plain good luck. I didn't know about it previously.

The one thing I can tell you, and this has helped me tremendously, is that I record wanted LPs in an EXCEL spreadsheet. Whenever I see a need or read here about some LP which looks like it would make a good addition, I just add it to my spreadsheet. I look it up in Goldmine to see which pressings might be earlier than others. I have my collection catalogued as well. This of course also helps eliminate the purchase of records I already have. The spreadsheet works great but is quite a chore to set-up, but now that I have it I wish I had done it many years ago. VERY useful.

Happy hunting! Joe
