To the best of my knowledge the only audio store of note in downtown Minneapolis is Hi-Fi Sound. You might also want to try to hit Audio Perfection south of the city on 74th & Lyndale. I think there are also some home shops out in the 'burbs.
Since I don't live there I'm not current on the vinyl scene. I used to frequent Roadrunner on 43rd & Nicollet, Hymie's (33xx E Lake St), and Cheapo Records/Vinyltopia now at 1300 W Lake St. I have no idea as to the current health of these shops. Hymie died a couple years ago but the last I heard one of his employees had kept the shop open.
If your taste runs to punk and related genre you might also try Extreme Noise the long running punk collective shop also on Lake St (unless they've moved yet again).
