Hiya guysI am using a SME 20.2 with model V arm and Hovland music groove 2 arm cable. The cartridge i was using was s VanDenHul "black Beauty". It is a good catridge but made everuthing sound like a cd,squeeky clean but lifeless.A few months ago,i bought a limited edition Koetsu Urushi "Sky Blue".Now,that is a hell-of-a-cartridge except in one area,Highs.Maybe i should play a little bit more with VTA and tracking weight, maybe it's just my imagination, who knows.Anyway, what i would like to know,is there any other cartridge that would give me the lushness of the urushi with the VDH's highs? A Lyra Titan Perhaps or maybe a Koetsu Red signature platinum? Any other suggestions ?
p.s. phono stage is E.A.R. 324.Also,please,do not recommend anything more expensive than a Red signature platinum.I want to sit back and enjoy music, not to count the time for the next retip lol
