What's wrong with people expressing there thoughts

Everyone here enjoys vinyl, and some vastly prefer it to digital for various philosophocical, audible and at times even scientific reasons, such as yourself. BUT, very often, at least on the basis of specs and science if not the obvious physical ones, digital has some good points against vinyl. I prefer vinyl, always and I agree with your views on digital (no matter the resolution) being an approximation of physical sound and vinyl being true to physical sound (at least on a theoretical basis), but, this is a FORUM, a place for debate and conversation and there is no reason why someone shouldn't be allowed to post there views, whether objective or subjective, when it comes to analog vs. digital, or any other topic.

The Vinyl Asylum does not have to be 100% pro-vinyl! The key to attaining audio nirvana (or, from my personal philosophy, any state of nirvana) is knowledge, and knowledge of both the pros and cons of the things we work with. There are cons to vinyl, you yourself have stated about the disadvantages of constant tweeking, cleaning, scratches, surfact noise, etc. And, there are, indeed, pros to digital (greater measured dynamic range, flatter response, and the whole Nyquist sampling theorem, although I have issues with it). Do the pros outweigh cons? Well, thats why we have a forum here to discuss.

No let us get back to what matters, the music, because for me, and a good majority of us, if the music is good enough, it overcomes all sonic limitations, and it doesn't matter what format it is.
