A few things that could help people diagnose the issue:- What version of Windows are you running?
- What make / model of Mouse are you using?
- What version of mouse drivers are you using?I've seen this before, sometimes the sensitivity of the mouse (e.g. mouse speed) is set too high compared with the resolution of the sensors (e.g. what sort of motion they can detect). Try (if you are running XP) going to Control Panel --> Mouse --> Pointer Options and reduce the pointer speed by 1/3. Also, if you are running recent drivers and have the option, you can play with the 'Enhance pointer precision' setting and toggle it on and off and see if that has any effect.
Good luck (and seriously, you should look into an optical mouse)!
