It was basically an unused unit which I got from a friend. Not from a store, sorry.
I also have the AH version of the cartridge, which came in a 'attached headshell' that can be fitted directly on to standard tonearms like the SME. The M97HE is way superior to the later M97xe, and in its time it was just a notch below the V15 series in sound quality.rgds
