JohnI think the M97 is a great Cartridge period as it gets out of the way of the Music like it's V15 siblings, does everything well, fine choice.
I would suggest however don't bother looking at Cartridge specs beyond Mass and Compliance (physical perimeters)as the FR curves don't tell you the real story most of the time, in the case of the OM 20 is a inherently very listenable, musical and engaging cartridge more or less the standout in the OM line, the OM 40 is a better tracker (so is the M97 BTW )and considerably more sophisticated but at 2- 3 X the price, and not necessarily more listenable unless you have a higher end more resolving system.
the OM 10 is a an OK, but more or less lack lustre Cart. a World of difference IMHO.
