AlbertoI think a nice Vintage table restored / modded tweaked to be speed stable and with the inherent resonance and isolation issues attended to coupled with a high quality tonearm properly matched to
a fine cartridge that suits your tastes provides a substantially
better performance / cost ratio.Re-plinth (heavy CLD) one of your TD 124's match it up to a really nice arm and a competent Power Supply along the lines of the PS's Mark Kelly has been designing, would provide at least as good a musical presentation/experience (IMHO considerably better) than any
Acrylic Slab from the Market driven (Profit Uber Alles) manufacturer's.Or get your TD 125 all squared away (No re-plinthing required) mount a Morch or Hadcock or if Gimballed arms are more to your preference an SME 309, IV or V or which BTW you can get extraordinary buys on Audiogon.
I'm also wondering if tables arms and cartridges are actually the real problem ?
When it comes to deriving the " Magic" I've found a serious Phono
Stage provides that Magic with a table considerably more modest
than any of your Thorens or the P3 for that matter.Unless you've just got cash to burn and in that case contact me ;-)
