I have an Ortofon OM40, and I _think_ the stylus is still under warranty. The cartridge body is sitting pretty low to my eye. It doesn't actually touch the vinyl on warps, but it's getting close. I have a decades old OM30 that definitely has collapsed - my OM40 isn't that bad. If anyone is using an OM series cartridge wants to take a look at theirs for comparison's sake, I'd be eternally grateful. The pic below shows the stylus on a moving record, with tracking force set to 1.5 grams.
