With you 100%

Back in my younger years when I was using all my money to purchase albums I always purchased new, never used. Even when I moved out on my own and was eating peanut butter sandwiches 3 times a day to save money I still purchased my vinyl new. I purchase used today because that is the only way to find the music I like, if I have a choice between new and used I almost always go new unless I know the new reissue sucks sonically and the older used one is better.

I do enjoy the hunt for used vinyl, but I used to enjoy the hunt for new vinyl back in my younger days, I remember looking for a copy of Roy Wood's Boulders before it was released in the US import copy of course, or the Hollies Live that Steve Simels (sp) reviewed in Stereo Review (which was released in Holland only at the time). I can remember my heart skipping a beat when I found them both at Moby Disc in LA.

You can enjoy the hunt for both used or new vinyl.

Jeff
