New Phantom Bearing

4.248.219.129

Attention Phantom owners - Bob Graham has recently upgraded the Phantom bearing. For those who are not sure - it is that portion of the arm - either gold or silver - which unscrews and contains the pointed shaft sitting in the blue fluid. Upgrading is as simple as unscrewing the old and screwing in the new. The new bearing has a different tip - it has a much sharper point, compared to the old one. According to Bob, the new profile better stabilizes the arm and allows for more detail and dyamics to flow through undisturbed. Belive me, the difference is not subtle. Highs are sharper and clearer, instruments are much more 3D, the stage is deeper. I just changed my bearing and, as HP would say - I have not yet gotten the full measure of the upgrade - but I hear an immediate difference. This is a dramatic change for only $225.00 for the new bearing. Newer arms are shipping with it. A great tonearm has been made even better. You can get it through your dealer or directly from Graham Engineering. Contact Bob for further info.
