eh Brah! my fadda was in the service, so you know, gotta go move with the job.use to go back and visit relatives, but no more grandparents, and running out of aunties and uncles too. my dad's folks use to live in st louis heights, my mom's in aiea. most of them went mainline anyways. funny thing, when my hakujine wife and i first went back (early 90's) to honolulu, we stayed in waikiki. i had never been to the beach there before, and man was it beautiful. no wonder all the tourists go there.
i guess you saw the thread about J-vinyl. easy to get over there? i bet you gonna have one big fat suitcase when when you come back!
also, you ever by from Aural Exploits on ebay? one of my kotonk friends runs that with her husband. vinyl only, mostly Classic Records (but no classical, alas).
