I am quite new to vinyl and related specifications, and as I was looking into getting a DL-103...A short one here. I have the Pro-Ject TubeBox MKII phono stage - according to the specifications, the MC input impedance is 100ohms/120pF, while the DL-103 has an output impedance of 40ohms.
Is output impedance synonimous to load impedance or even related? Does this mean I need an additional SUT to use the DL-103 on my phono stage?
Up to this point, I have used both MM's [Shure V15xMR, Shure M97xE, Pro-Ject K4/K6] as well as a single MC [Ortofon Rondo Red] with no issues. Mind you, the Rondo Red has a rated load impedance of 10-200ohms.
