KETÈLBEY: In A Monastery Garden; The Clock and Dresden Figures; In A Chinese Temple Garden; In The Mystic Land of Egypt; In A Persian Market John Lanchbery, Philharmonia Orchestra - Angel / EMI 45 RPM Sonic Series SS-45012
Some of the deepest bass I have ever heard besides of Reference Recordings, sparkling highs and thrilling as all get out. In the 1980's this was my main demo disc.SHANKAR: Concerto for Sitar and Orchestra Ravi Shankar, André Previn, London Symphony Classical - Angel SFO 36806 (Does not say EMI anywhere but it was recorded in England by Bishop & Parker who make some of EMI's best recordings, maybe it was recorded for the USA market only?) Label is light tan with wide dark bar that has picture of angel playing the LP with her feather and "angel" lower case.
Fantastic music and sonically superb. A wonderful recording. If Angel can get two right maybe there are more?

Happy listening,
