I never use wet cleaning techniques and yet I have a very clean-sounding record collection. With respect to the LZ set, the noise problems I reported correlate with the problems Classic has admitted to. Most of the noise is occuring in the first 5 minutes of the discs which they have admitted is a problem with vinyl formation in the press, not dirt or mold release compound. I have many other Classic LPs that are quiet as they should be, both flat and warped.As for the LAST preservative, the manufacturer says that it's application does not affect the cleanability of an LP should one wish to do so later.
