It is easy to measure the bolts for both plumb and straightness, but replacing one is an arm breaking ordeal!About the plinth, I have been waiting for a flutted Rosewood bass, but since Linn never made either, you and I will stay with what we have! Actually I would like to change out my black plinth, the finish is not durable enough and scratches where the dust cover sits.I have seen a third party plinth like you describe, but I would be a bit cautious given the importance of the plinth. I guess you could always buy a new Cherry plinth and have your local wood artisan router the flutting in it for you. That would be pretty easy. Actually I think that the unflutted plinth might be marginally stiffer.
The LP12 has an Ekos and ArkivB on it, and the speakers are old Servoamplifer driven Acoustats ESL's
