Dear sir,

I'm afraid you are looking for a product that does not exist. Ortofon does not manufacture an OMP 40. There are just two models in the OMP Series of P-mount cartridges : the OMP 5 E and the OMP 10.

Also, OMP Series cartridges are MM (Moving Magnet) and can not be used with a MC phono stage.

The X1-MCP is a high output MC cartridge and needs to be used with a MM phono stage as well. Ortofon does not manufacture any low output MC cartridges in P-mount version. Therefore none of the Ortofon P-mount cartridges are designed to be used with a MC phono stage.

Please refer to the ortofon website at www.ortofon.com for an overview of all available Ortofon cartridges and their specifications.
