That's an interesting and puzzling problem! Some initial thoughts...With only 350 hours, it seems unusual that you'd see any wear. Sounds like maybe the cart had a rougher life than most. Could be the suspension is showing that too.
OK, starting with the simple first, have you double-checked your cabling? Are you certain the microscope inverts the image?
It may be obvious and I'm sorry to ask such a basic question, but have to you re-checked the cart alignment after the VTF/VTA adjustments?
Have you checked the azimuth?
Ultimately, I'd advise you not to get too hung up on test tracks. I know it's hard not too! But if the combo plays music well, that's the important part.
