I wish more people could read and understand the part about pivot-to-spindle and tangential errors and understand that there is a lot of bad information out there, and that some of it can be traced back to manufacturers and dealers who either don't know or don't care, but who none-the-less issue white papers on the subject. The "guides" that come with many TTs, arms and cartridges are tantamount to disinformation, IMO.The $80k part is, to me, chilling (pun intended both ways: your historical backdrop and present sweltering heat. Sorry, couldn't resist the set-up;>)). You can't spend enough to be certain. In fact, it would be fun to swap the most outrageous "salon" stories.
