I've read the prior replies, and am in agreement with most of the sentiments expressed in them.I only had a couple o' thoughts, which are all of two more than I usually have at any particular moment:
Don't lose sight of the fact that you are paying her for the entire collection, unless you are not. So, paying individually valued prices that you have gleaned from Popsike or elsewhere for the whole bunch is neither what she nor you expects. As has been said before, she would prefer you - that is, someone who will appreciate them for years to come - to have them, over someone who will parcel 'em out, put stickers on 'em and sell 'em. That sentiment has value in and of itself, not unlike a parent making sure that the babysitter for one's children is not abusive, and she likely figures that you are entitled to some form of discount over full, current values for granting her peace and comfort regarding her collection. If she wanted full value, she would have come up with a way to receive full value.
If the source for all that filthy lucre is a problem, perhaps you can arrange to do some services around the home or yard for her as a barter, unless you are like me, and are a clumsy oaf, and would be paid protection money for remaining more than 100 feet away from someone's yard, home, or car.
Of course, none of those services should involve restoring her turntable. &%^)
