What I think the original poster is referring to is the particular alignment not the precision of such or the setup. The Geo-Disc uses Loefgren "A" null points (some say Baerwald but he ripped off Loefgren) and I suspect like most Japanese arms the one he is using is designed for Stevenson null points or very similar.
I personally prefer Loefgren "B" or Stevenson null points but if properly aligned to those or Loefgren "A" (aka Baerwald) null points I find no dramatic, if any, differences as to the profile of the stylus.
