For $1500, could someone recommend a table, arm, cartridge, and phono section that has the detail and noise level of a decent SACD ($1000) player?I'm basically new to TT's - I have an old $200 Yammy in case I need to transfer a LP to MP3, but that pretty sums up my exp w/TT's!
Thanks,
- T

- I, like Teresa was a rabid SACD fan until I heard vinyl. It took about 3 seconds to realize vinyl was better - jdaniel 08:17:21 07/17/06 (0)

- Timinator my $629 Music Hall turntable playing the best LPs easily surpasses the sonics of both of my SACD players. - Teresa 20:09:54 07/16/06 (0)

- No, I'm only making an assumption based on the superiority of Redbook to vinyl. (nt) - John Elison 05:00:17 07/17/06 (5)
- John that's an incorrect assumption as Vinyl is VASTLY superior to redbook CD, only slightly superior to SACD. (nt) - Teresa 17:52:11 07/17/06 (1)
- Thanks, Teresa. That explains it. I kind of figured as much. ;-) (nt) - John Elison 18:22:02 07/17/06 (0)
