I had the same problem with my Unico P. It turns out it was something called DC offset. I bought this DC offset device from upscale audio plugged the amp in to it & the noise was gone. I screwed around for weeks tightening & loosening the transformer , changing its position slightly nothing worked. I eventualy googled buzzing transformer & found this device & figured it was worth a try & it worked. Anyway, that is my guess. Good luck.
