We have done it at work with limited success. First, don't try to melt it. That will not work, but it will dash any possibility of fixing it.A few questions...
1) What color is the nylon?
2) How wide is the gap at the split?
3) How thin are both pieces?
4) Exactly how much stress does the part get when in use?
5) What exactly does it do?
6) What metal is the bushing?
7) How does it all fit? Does the assembly drop in someplace?
8) Does the part supposed to move in normal use?
9) How large is it?
10) Can you make a picture of it?
11) Is Dean going to kill you, or just beat you half to death?
