Finding King Crimson albums in pristine condition is difficult in my experience. Those early albums have a lot of quiet passages which require a perfect copy. Also I've found the original UK Island's to be much better in sound quality than US Atlantic's and they are in fairly high demand. As an alternative to UK Island's, you might try EG special editions copies. The USA version sounds pretty good and is usually easier to find and cheaper.
