Since Grace styli are impossible to find and re-tipping is too costly and unpredictable, what would be a good replacement. Top dollar would be $150.

The TT is a Sony x800 with a bio tracer, linear tracking arm. Published original specâ€™s for the arm indicate a range of possible cartridge weights of 10 to 28 grams. Stylus force range is 0.5 â€“ 3.0 grams.

Phono goes to a Marantz sc 9 pre-amp which has published original specâ€™s for its four selectable loadings of: MC: Impedance, variable 10, 47, 100, 220 ohms, sensitivity (1.5v output) 0.2mv. MM: Impedance, variable 1K, 10, 27, 47 100 ohms, sensitivity (1.5v output) 2.0 mv.
