Anybody familiar with this thing in MC mode?I have not been able to get a deep, solid sound out of mine. I use a .25mV dynavector karat with it.
I was happier with a high-output dyna 20xH and the tubed MM phono section in a conrad johnson preamp i had.
Wouldn't you think that spending the extra $ for the karat, and spending $1500 for the minimax, would yield a major improvement?
