Thanks everyone for the great responses so far. Looking at the responses and from my own listening experience, I am inclined to go with the Nottingham Spacedeck. I doubt that a used table (Nott or Scheu) will come up any time soon. Being in Canada, the Spacedeck is a bit easier to get to as well, while Scheu does not have a dealer network yet. Not like I can go wrong either way...Overall I am very excited. I only have a moderate LP collection (400+) and have been thinking about getting out of vinyl a couple of times. With a recent upgrade of my CDP (an Audio Aero Prima) my rate of vinyl listening sessions had been on the decline. Listening to the Spacedeck again last week has me convinced the other way. And so many good records are available for just a couple of dollars.
Note on the side: I have just started a separate thread about which arm to use with the Spacedeck: Spacearm vs. Morch UP4. Please let me know if you have any further comments.
