...it's impossible to have "enough" versions. The only limitation is space, and I'm fortunate in having lots of space.I just picked up my twelfth version of the Schubert Ninth Symphony, probably the classical piece I have most versions of. I also have four complete sets of the Beethoven piano sonatas, three B Minor Masses, two complete Ring cycles (working on my fourth), four Magic Flutes, and so on. Hey, why not? It's fun to compare performances.
