Hey Everybody,
I wanted to thank fellow inmate Panelhead for his generous tonearm wrap offer he did earlier this month. I got my wrap last week and finally got around to wrapping my RB250 Friday evening. I'm not what you would call OCD so my wrap job's looks leave something to be desired but the sonic improvement was readily apparent right away. I have a Sota Comet with the RB250 and a Sumiko Blue Point No. 2. I have not been happy with the high end sound at all. It was edgy and harsh sounding sometimes and too bright all the time for my taste. The harshness/ edginess has been greatly diminished. The sound is still bright but less so. There seems to be more air than before too. This is the first tweak I have tried on this arm and it has encouraged me to try some of the other popular Rega arm tweaks. It has also given the Sumiko a life extension if not reprieve from getting exchanged for something else.
