sigh, this was what i thought when i bought a turntable from a guy in canada who also didn't take paypal. i think he had a similar number of positives in his 100% positive feedback, but turned out he was a known crook who had just built up the positives (with some nice gear too) to make a big score. i don't think i was the big score he intended, but i think he didn't want to deal with my shipping requests so he took my money and just abandoned the account.of course, even with that, i would probably still be up for taking the same risk again for the right item at the right price (a used cart of unknown hours for that price is neither, for me anyway :)
