It's also about adopting a piece of time

Wow, what a bit of fun debate this seems to have started. Vinyl is kind of like a timecapsule of music for the times, and I sometimes can't help wanting to open that capsule, to "hear" what's inside. A lot of what I look for is stuff that, if it is in good condition, and someone cared for it in the past, I may give it a spin just out of curiousity.

And I may be behind in what's out there for collecting, but I like Al Hirt, Herb Alberts, and that Precision Percussion is awesome! I will admit, though, that I think the pressure go to me. Just ask the 24 DVD's I bought in the last week why they're sitting there (because they were $2 each, and I'll watch at least once...before I die). I think I just transferred that bug to my vinyl.

AND hey, I'm contributing to charity! And I can donate them right back and claim both transfers for my taxes. See, everyone wins here!
