yeah i am assuming its either one or the other and am just hoping it gets here with the sylus intact. however for what i paid for this set up even if the stylus is dead, its worth it for the retip. i love my red, so would just get the wood body cartridge retipped.provded the thorens survives shipping i can't wait to hear how it sounds. i currently have a slightly modded NAD 533/p2 and when ever i listen to an older quality table i just think the rega table is junk (arm seems great though).
i also have a sony tts 3000 that fell into my lap with the giant sony arm and shure v15 II that should be coming tomorrow as well, so it should be a pretty fun weekend.
good luck with the lenco, i could just never get that quite right, i probably should have had more patience.
