Not that uncommon...

I see that LP around fairly often here in NYC. It is "collectible," of course, because of its connection to the Stones and because there is a subset of Stones collectors focused on anything Brian.

I believe the story goes that the Stones were spending some time in North Africa during the period between Beggar's and Let It Bleed, just before Brian died. He heard this music and decided to try to do for this type of "trance" music what George Harrison had done for Indian music; that is, mainstream it for consumption by hippies.

No one ever really mentions the music, probably because it’s not "rock," but if you like it, all the better for you.

In the condition you describe you could probably get $30 - $40 for it.
