Hi.I've used a big stencil brush for a couple of years now with great results. I have an old platter & bearing from a non-working Denon DD table mounted in a plastic tub that I clamp the record to. I spin the platter & just hold the brush so it rides along the grooves. Works great. I've restored many noisy & dirty thrift records to unbelievable quietness (is that a word?) with this method.
