Brought home yesterday my 3rd TD-124,the second one with an SME 3012.This one has an extremely light counterweight that necessitated moving it all the way to the extreme opposite end in order to counterbalance a 10 gr. headshell with a Shure V15MR in it-a far cry from another 3012 that can bear the weight of a 30gr. mono SPU.
And there seems to be a good synergy between the light 3012 and the V15MR.
Were there many different counterweights supplied with the various 3012s?
