i would be the last person to discourage saving a couple of bucks where I can, but, when I consider my vinyl purchases one of my highest priorities is "who" I buy it from. In such a niche market, where you spend your hard earned bucks is like voting for the dealer you want to survive. At my favorite vinyl dealer (local) I always pay cash and he drops the sales tax,.. good for him,.. good for me. I could save a dollar or two if I bought on line but, there's no one to ask about the latest hot cartrige or ab a deep groove Blue Note to the Classic reissue. No, these few remaining real analog shops (or rooms hint hint) should be nurtured or before you know it, they won't be around. We deal in a world where every vote really does count and I would hate to hear from our silver disked brothers" that's why nobody sells them anymore"!
