Have you tried the Archive here yet ?In general aside from the essential basics you'll develop your own pace and technique and get the best use of your machine after you've used it for a while.
I haven't done a NG Lip replacement in 30 years, but I believe it's pretty much a no brainer, when I used one I only did it once and that's when the lips were very worn, just keep them clean.
The vacuum makes quite a difference doesn't it.
