What settings to use: Dynavector 10X5

I'm a complete and utter neophyte when it comes to vinyl and will appreciate confirmation on the settings I should use for this setup:
Dynavector 10X5 cartridge. Dynavector recommends a load impedance >1k ohms. The cartridge is relatively high output at 2.5mV
My phono stage (Blue Circle BC23) has settings for 47k ohm, 100 ohm, 69 ohm, 60 ohm, 221 ohm, 150 ohm, 475 ohm. It also offers 40dB and 61db gain settings.
I can do the basic math and see that 47k ohm > 1k ohm, but want to confirm that this is indeed the setting I should use. I figure I should use the 40dB gain setting as well. Does that seem right or do others have other setting recommendations?
