That combination will present the cartridge a load of 208 ohms. I have no experience with the OC9 but in general a cartridge will work best with a transformer with the load at or slightly above the cartridge DC resistance. John E reported the DC resistance is 12.5ohms so roughly 15-20 ohms would be a good place to start.That said the 200+ ohms is way too high. It is possible to lower it however. What transformer is it?
