When I was looking for a used Ittok arm, many informed me that the earlier models were extremely prone to the bearing damage.
Moreover, many owners don't even know when they are shot. My local Linn dealer has a drawerful of Ittoks with shot bearings.
And apparently, it is expensive to fix. I don't even know if Linn offers that service.
