Not familiar, but Stages are one area where you pretty much do get what you pay for up to a certain point, the only real Bargains at the lower end of the cost spectrum seem to be DIY like the Bugle etc.I believe the Stage is the simgle most important link in the analog chain, once you try a quality stage you will never go back as amplifying the miniscule voltage of even the higher out put MM's or MC's is a challenging engineering task, an amazing amount of information subtle and otherwise.
Probably not wise to snag a $29K Boulder Stage when your system is
base level stuff, but even the modest systems benefit greatly from a compent stage. The only real phono pre bargains are the DIY and some Phono sections
in vintage Integrateds and preamps, aside from that I believe $500 to $1000
is the realm of the base level truly worthwhile stuff, I've wished it weren't that way, as the $$$ can buy a lot of used Vinyl.Check the Archives here as there are zillions of excellent threads on the subject.
One the eBay stage I'd take a pass and start researching and saving for something that will give you a glimpse of what serious stages are capable of.
