Shelter 501 not a good match with JMW-10?

I've read and just want to confirm that there is an issue with using this pairing? Something about the compliance on the Shelter being too stiff? I thought stiff was good with a relatively heavy arm like the JMW? Just a newbie poking around though so please educate me if I'm wrong.
