VPI Aries 2 vs. Scoutmaster

They are at about the same price point. I think the Scoutmaster comes with the JMW-9, but an arm is extra on the Aries. The reason I ask is I am trying to compare Audiogon listings.
1. Aries 2 with JMW-10 with ring clamp, 2 mo old $2600
2. Aires 2 + JMW 10.5 + Krell KPE Phono Stage $4400 (no ring clamp)
3. Scoutmaster + JMW-9 1 yr old $1825
4. Scoutmaster + JMW-9 + Lyra Dorian $2000 (2 hrs usage!). I contacted the seller on this one, but "Sale Pending" I am a back up on this sale.
It seems that new, the Aries is $2400 without an arm. Yet the Aries Black Knight is $2800 with the JMW9. Yet a seperate JMW9 is $900. The JMW10 new is $1400 and the 10.5 is $2000. The ring clamp s $600.
Is the Aries a better table than the Scoutmaster? About equal?
Which is the better deal? Comments. Thanks in advance.
